ASAP provides for several different methods of tracking attendance. Hourly attendance is the most prevalent method used. Teachers can track attendance via the Internet with a comprehensive teacher management tool, using Scantron bubble sheets or by hand with sign-in sheets. Some classes require tracking attendance minute-by-minute. Our Lab feature allows teachers and/or students to track their time in and time out to the minute. Students can check in with their ID number at a computer or by swiping an ID card into a reader. ASAP monitors daily flow of attendance data, providing instant feedback to managers and requiring minimal front office clerical work. Options for administrators include tracking receipt of audit sheets confirming the attendance and verifying whether teachers have done attendance in the first place.
