Students log in and out at a computer in the classroom with a bar-code reader or through a keyboard. ASAP records minute-by-minute attendance and keeps track of multiple entries and exits per student on any given day. Teachers can operate multiple classes at the same time so a single workstation can run several different classrooms at the same time. At the end of a period or shift, teachers can print out a confirmation of activity and turn it in to the office. Teachers can also run reports during the day to confirm students have checked in or out.
