ASAP provides the ability to pre-print Scantron attendance sheets. The office can control the amount of attendance that is scheduled on each attendance sheet, from one day to as many as ten scheduled days on a single sheet. Teachers bubble the hours for each student in attendance. The controls included in ASAP do not permit attendance to be collected for non-scheduled times. Teachers can add new students to their class by hand-writing the new student's name on a blank line on the sheet and taking attendance.

Once the attendance sheet has been submitted, office staff scan the sheet into ASAP using a Scantron scanner. ASAP quickly and efficiently reads the attendance information. If there are new students written in on the sheet, ASAP recognizes the additions and gives the office staff the tools necessary to complete the registration and finalize the data input.
