Teachers take attendance over the Internet from any computer with a web browser, whether they are in the classroom, in the office, at home or relaxing at a coffee shop. A web based attendance tool gives schools and agencies the ability to collect attendance from remote sites without worrying about network connections or managing updates and software installations. It also cuts down on the effort of printing, bubbling and scanning attendance sheets.

Teachers take attendance, review student history, issue grades and credits, track skills, request certificates and even register students from any computer via the Web. Included in Web Attendance is ASAP's TOPSPro interface. Teachers have the ability to input the TOPSPro Entry, Update and Workforce Supplemental Record information directly into ASAP via the web. There is even a Master input form to quickly make changes to large numbers of students with the same results. This data can then be electronically transferred to TOPSPro, eliminating the need to distribute, collect and scan forms.

Distance Learning and Independent Study have custom attendance and management tools. Distance Learning gives administrators the control over the hours teachers can accumulate for each packet/level. Teachers can track each packet as the student takes it and completes it, record test scores and any comments or notes. Print out a summary and include it in the student's folder to help reduce paperwork and manual note taking. Independent Study gives teachers the ability to record an entire week of attendance on one screen. Teachers cannot violate CDE policies limiting hours per day or on weekends.

Other features include counselors who can view class openings and register students for classes from their school, without having to call the office to inquire about openings. They can confirm registrations by printing a confirmation and submitting it to the office with signatures, if required. Teachers, counselors and office staff can collect survey results from their students using pre-built survey questions.
